Celebration of Life and Work for Charlotte Nelson

A time of Remembrance for Charlotte Nelson will take place on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Des Moines. The event will take place between 1:30 PM and 3:30 PM, with a Gathering for remembrance at 2:00 PM. Charlotte Nelson was the spouse of the Des Moines Presbytery’s former Executive Presbyter, Rev. Dr. Gus Nelson. Charlotte was a person of great faith, whose life reflected her commitment to justice issues and compassion for all people.
