Part-time Communications Director for Trinity United Presbyterian Church, Indianola, IA

Trinity United Presbyterian Church in Indianola, Iowa is searching for a Communications Director. The Communications Director will work with the Church Pastor, church staff members and ministry teams to promote the timely dissemination of information to all church members and to provide information to the broader community regarding the activities and opportunities at Trinity.

The Communications Director will be responsible for maintaining the Trinity website and will utilize the various forms of social media, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to regularly post announcements and video clips of church activities, working with the various groups within the church, to inform and promote Trinity to members as well as the community at large. The Communication Director will also coordinate community outreach and marketing through flyers, newspapers and other publications. The Communications Director will work with volunteers within the church to accomplish communications tasks and to coordinate weekly live streaming of Trinity worship services. This is a part-time hourly position, and it is anticipated that the position will involve 7 – 10 hours weekly.
