Office Manager Position Opening - First Presbyterian Church, Grimes

First Presbyterian Church in Grimes is seeking a part-time office manager.

Job responsibilities:

  • Reconcile bank statements.
  • Pays Bills.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports for session.
  • Maintain a proper cash flow.
  • Payroll for church staff.
  • Assure all tax reports are promptly paid and timely filed.
Order office/church supplies.
  • Make updates to church website.
  • Prepare and distribute the monthly newsletter.
  • Keep church calendar updated.
  • Prepare Baptismal, New Member, Church Officer and Marriage Certificates.
  • Initiate Prayer requests.
  • Compile Annual reports and membership directory.
  • Assist committee chairs with events as directed by the Pastor.
  • Maintain confidentiality with finances and membership.
  • Retrieve mail, takes outgoing mail to Post Office.
  • Prepare bulletins for Sunday service and special services.
  • Keep track of attendance.

    • Four day work week
