She came wearing sandals.  She needs boots.

He has only a sweatshirt.  He needs a coat.

THEY LEFT EVERYTHING BEHIND.

SUDANESE REFUGEE ASSISTANCE
The Presbytery of Des Moines’ Sudanese Support Team is partnering with our First Arabic Presbyterian Worshiping Community to provide desperately needed items for newly arrived Sudanese refugees. We ask for your help by making a monetary donation or providing a gift card (Walmart, Target, Hy-Vee, Price Chopper, etc.).

DONATE online at dmpresbytery.org, or send gift cards or checks (payable to Presbytery of Des Moines with Sudanese Mission on the memo line) to the Presbytery of Des Moines, 2400 86th Street, Suite 20, Urbandale, IA 50322.

Suppose there are brothers or sisters who need clothes and don’t have enough to eat. What good is there in your saying to them, “God bless you! Keep warm and eat well!”– if you don’t give them the necessities of life? So it is with faith: if it is alone and includes no actions, then it is dead.

James 2:15-17
