Three Levels of Excitement for Committee on Ministry

At the recent 508th Stated Meeting of the Presbytery of Des Moines at Collegiate Presbyterian Church in Ames, the Committee on Preparation for Ministry celebrated with three adults who have chosen to become a Teaching Elder in the PC(USA).

Ellen Keyser of Trinity United Presbyterian Church in Indianola became an Inquirer.

Chad Schwickerath of Ankeny Presbyterian Church in Ankeny became a Candidate.

Jenny Peek of First Presbyterian Church in Grinnell became certified as ready for a call.

We celebrate with all of these important individuals, along with their families and their churches.

The 509th Stated Meeting of the Presbytery of Des Moines will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at the United Christian-Presbyterian Church, 1500 Industrial Ave., Bedford, Iowa. The meeting will be hosted by the Southwest Regional Partnership of the Presbytery. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. with the meeting beginning at 9:30 a.m.
